My seven year old loves it. I bought her 9 yr old brother the razor dirt rocket. We love racing around the neighborhood. Yes, even I have a great time. Although I prefer the dirt rocket, since it’s faster. Razor MX500 Dirt Rocket Electric Motocross Bike. Just make sure they wear helmets and knee pads because they’ll need them.
We bought this for our 8 year old neice because we had purchased one like in December for our 8 year old grandaughter. Both of them love it! It goes pretty fast for the size and they get a long ride out of one charge. It pulls our driveway and goes well in the grass. Would definately buy another.
The main difference of this scooter when compared to other electrical vehicles for children is the much better build quality. The internal frame is made entirely of metal as well as the handle bars, the wheels are rubber and the brake is for real, not just a cut energy switch.
The size it is perfect for an 8 year old but it will take a while to get used to the speed and to handle it properly.
The look is very nice with a very good finish on the plastic parts. The assembly takes just minutes and all the tools required are already included. The assembly just involves fitting the handle bar and the front wheel.
I have never looked a better electrical ride-on for children anywhere at any price.
For the price it is wonderful gift.
My daughter loved this scooter. We purchased it for her for a birthday present. The one major drawback is that it takes 10 hours to charge the battery and you only get 30 minutes of riding time out of that charge.
My daughter goes out first thing every morning and rides it for a half hour and then that is the end of the fun until the next day. Someone should invent a battery with a longer life for these scooters….
I buy this scooter a week ago and my son loves it. We don’t have any problems with the battery or charge. I purchase the vapor scooter as a gift for my son 10 birthday. I was afraid of the battery problems after reading the reviews but this one is perfect. Maybe the Razor company update the model or solve the battery problem. I recommend this product to any children between 10 and 14 years old. The Black (Vapor) color is suitable for boys and looks very masculine. I received it in about one business day trough Amazon Co.
My grandchildren love their Razor scooters! They go all over our farm in “record time”. Make sure you purchase helmets that MUST be worn when riding the scooter.
We purchased this Razor Pocket Mod scooter for our daughter’s 7th birthday. We live on a court with 12 other children between the ages of 7 and 15. They all want one for x-mas. It is great fun for young and old. We found the speed to be just fast enough and it is not hard to control at all. We were a bit nervous to purchase this item but are SO happy we did. Shipping was super fast (box is huge)and it took us 5-10 minutes to put together. We also won a red electric stand up razor scooter shortly after our purchase. The kids by far enjoy the pocket mod more.
I purchased this scooter for my 12 year old son and we are both very pleased with it.
PROS:
It was easy to put together and even came with all the tools needed for assembly. My son rode it for 1 and a half hours on the first charge before the battery needed to be charged again. Looks great! Runs great and is easy to operate.
CONS:
The only problem I had with this scooter was in the research phase (before I bought it). When I was looking for information on this scooter there was conflicting information. Some sources stated the weight limit to be 220 lbs. The razor website stated a 170 lb. weight limit and the instruction manual says 150 lb. weight limit. Since my son currently weighs under 100 lbs., this was not a huge concern for me.
We bought this for my daughter’ eleventh birthday and she just loves it! It charges well, goes fast and she wants to be out on it every day. A gift well worth it.
We bought the pink razor (bella) a year ago and our kids absolutely love it!! Just got “betty” for our 8 year old’s bday. Last weeek we got the E300S and that’s been a hit as well. Easy to assemble, extremely easy to learn to ride. They say ages 14+, but our 8 year old has no problem riding. We have 4 daughters and they love them all!
Razor makes a great product!

We bought this for our daughter’s 9th birthday and she loved it. Her and her friends have a great time riding it. It charged great and it lasted quiet a while each time. It does go pretty fast so a much younger child (5 or younger) may have trouble riding it. Everyone in the neighborhood knows it”s her cruising the streets on her pink “ride”.
Great fun for hours… yes, you must follow directions and fully charge battery before the first ride. My neighbors stop and check this one out..this one catches eyes of all young and old…
My 8 year old daughter has been saving for this for the past six months so we paid for half for her birthday. she has ridden it everyday since and loves it. The battery lasts long enough for her to use it all day (she doesn’t ride it continuously for 45 min but off and on throughout the day). It goes fast enough for her, she doesn’t go full throttle anyway. She should be able to ride this for a couple of years.
